A machine delivery period may take quite some time as some customers require additional cusomization etc. Moreover, for some customers there is a shortage of machines to train the service personnel. On top of that, Corona Virus, though not being a global issue anymore, introduced new challanges such as limited to completely canceled on-site training. Therefore, there is a need in training content that would be both engaging and immersive enough to bridge the gap between the trainees and the machine. XR turned out to be the right choice to address all issues. ARTC Singapore and EOS Additive Minds Academy came up with a great idea to turn the waiting time into learning time with the xR Basic Training Apps. The apps containing both AR (AV) and VR content introduce the user into the main (basic) concepts of machine maintanance from build job initialization to post processing. My role in this project was assisting with the storyboard, providing necessary connection with the content owners (machine experts), feedback collection, implementation of key points of improvement, paywall integration and management of the apps at the backend of the Apple App- and Google PlayStore. Project files upon request.
