The installation use case was implemented as a serivce use case for customers who are new to the EOS P 110 system. Once delivered the system needs to be properly installed that in its turn requires one of EOS experts on site. Due to that there are additional expenses that customer has to bear: travel and accomodation costs for a service technician and most importantly the service cost itself. We at AMAC AR Team decided to enable customers and let them install the machine themselves. How? - XR came in very handy. Consisting of 10 main sections and a number of steps in each section, the AR-based installation made a significant difference for both external and internal customers. No service technicians required anymore as procedure is explained in a clear, well-structured step-by-step manner utilizing AR, making it another USP for the system and a cool experience for a customer right from the start of their journey with EOS. Main benefits? - no travel costs, reduced price for customers and last but not least reduced CO2 footprint. Project files upon request.
